Composition and sound design Portfolio
Welcome to my portfolio. Stay up to date with my latest developments and find examples of my latest work.
About Me
After years of playing the trumpet and performing in incredible venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and Disneyland Paris I discovered my passion for composing. I have just graduated BSc (Hons) in Music Composition and Technology for Film and Game with first class honours. Throughout my course I've become proficient in composing and creating sound design for films, animations, TV production music and adverts, using Logic and Pro Tools.
Diving into the technical world of game audio, I've learnt the stages of game development, implementing my music and sound design into software such as Unreal and Unity.
An entrepreneurial musician, I am actively seeking opportunities to challenge myself to grow my portfolio.
Immortals of Aveum
For this project I took a clip from the Immortals of Aveum and redesigned the weapons and environments, with a focus on making satisfying reload effects and rewarding combat audio experiences.
Horror Hospital
For this project I re-designed the audio for this horror hospital and the implemented it into engine using Unity' inbuilt audio processing options. The total audio time for all music, ambience and sound effects is under 4 minutes. Within these 4 minutes are nonlinear ambiences and music loops, weather systems, sound design, foley and triggered audio events.
The Last Bastion
For this project I completely redesigned the audio, with new music and sound design throughout! I had so much fun with this project and I am so happy with the result. The story follows the forgotten battle automaton, Bastion, as it unexpectedly reactivates after laying dormant in the wilderness for over a decade. Fascinated by its unfamiliar surroundings, the curious robot begins to investigate, but quickly discovers its core combat programming may have a different directive...
Cocoon
This project is a Sound Design focused piece where I re-designed and replaced all the sound design from a recent gameplay trailer for "Cocoon". The trailer demonstrates a variety of different sound design techniques in a number of different environments. I am thrilled with the outcome of this project and enjoyed making it!
